The silicone intake is specially designed for the larger hybrid turbos.
The starting point for the design is the original hose where the dimensions have been adjusted for an optimal air flow. So it is not only an optical adjustment to personalize the engine, the hoses are also reinforced with multiple layers, making the quality better than the original OEM hoses.
They wear less quickly, can withstand a higher intake air and the overall air flow is optimized due to its shape, resulting in a better gas response.
Because the TIP is very large, it does not fit directly. It is necessary to disassemble and bend out the metal coolant pipe that runs close to the original TIP. On some models it may also be necessary to adjust the shift cable holder.
