The Tapered RacingLine Turbo muffler delete and silicone connection hose is one of the upgrades you must have for optimal flow of the intake air that leaves the turbo towards the engine block. This turbo muffler delete from Racingline ensures that there is a swirl-free flow of the compressed turbo pressure. For the original turbo outlet, a design was chosen that creates many swirls. This was chosen for the original turbo outlet to reduce the noise of the turbo. This does cause power to be lost. The silicone connecting hose has a larger diameter that replaces the restrictive power-consuming compressor exhaust with a smooth, turbulence-free air path leaving the turbo.
The original muffler delete has an inner diameter of 38mm throughout. The RacingLine turbo muffler delete has an inner diameter of 53mm and fits perfectly on the silicone hose. With this turbo muffler delete from RacingLine you get an improved flow, which will give you more torque and power.
